As well as protecting your pet’s health, you are also safeguarding the health of your family. Gastrointestinal worms can cause health issues in people such as rashes, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Drontal Allwormer may be combined with other treatments, for example heartworm prevention, flea or tick treatment. Drontal wormer works a little differently from other treatments - unlike other products applied monthly, only one treatment controls all gastrointestinal worms in adult dogs for up to 3 months. Treat puppies at 2, 4, 8, 12 weeks; then at 4, 5, 6 months of age. The dosage is based on your dog’s bodyweight. Drontal is available as tablets (1 tablet treats 3kg or 10kg bodyweight), or convenient chews (1 chew treats 10kg or 35kg bodyweight). Puppies may be treated with Drontal from 2 weeks of age. If your dog is sick or debilitated, consult your veterinarian before treatment. It may be administered to pregnant/lactating dogs but only in the last 10 days before whelping.
